What was the center of universe to most Greeks?

To most ancient Greeks, the center of the universe was the Earth .

This geocentric model, with the Earth at the center and the Sun, Moon, and stars revolving around it, was the prevailing view for centuries. It was proposed by philosophers like Anaximander and Aristotle , and was later refined by Ptolemy in his influential work, the Almagest .
